What does a Client Service Support Representative Do?

This role supports our Client Services team across the United States. The Client Services Support Rep position is responsible for providing necessary clerical support to assist in Purolator International’s Day to day operational efficiency and customer care support. Ensuring the organizational tasks are applied in a manner which enables the Client Services team to provide our customers with a high-quality customer experience.


WHERE are you located?

Ideally, we are looking for candidates located within the East, South, Great Lakes or Central regions of the country. Our district offices in those regions are located in Detroit MI, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, and Philadelphia PA. Using one of those offices as a home market would be ideal, but we are open to other remote areas as well. Depending on the location of the candidate, this position may be remote, or may be domiciled within one of our office locations within the United States.


WHEN do you work?

 Monday – Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm 37.5 weekly hours


HOW do you perform? 

  • Weekly service exceptions, Late PINs
  • Shipments that appear to be late - require this employee to complete detailed research in order to validate if that late shipment should be counted against PI or should be considered OTP as an acceptable delay and not count against PI’s performance – heavy impact on customer facing reporting and PI Terms and Conditions service guarantees. 

  • ERP system data entry/Shipment Boards: Unbilled Accesorials; PF Unbilled PRO’s; Finalizing HWBs & Determining PWB costs to ensure PI recovers all revenue
  • Phone Queue: Answering calls that come into the Client Services queue and assisting the caller from start to finish (customer may be a Purolator Inc. [our parent company] customer or a Purolator International customer)
  • Developing key external relationships with customers calling into the queue line - serving as point of contact to provide information and resolve concerns, using both verbal and written communication.
  • ERP System Record Updating: Customer contact information is correct per account; Client Services Team account ownership is correctly identified with the employee current contact information
  • SFDC Record Updating: Survey Contacts and Team Support Contacts
  • Developing key internal relationships in the Transportation, Operations, and Customer Service areas using both verbal and written communication


WHO are you?

  • 1 – 2 years relevant clerical/administrative work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, data manipulation experience is preferred)
  • Experience using high attention to detail as information may be used in the preparation of presentations and/or reports

  • Ability to manage emotionally charged situations requiring resolution
  • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and work instructions
  • Ability to use structured thinking daily, based on training and prescribed work instructions, to complete set tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
