Description

The Financial Analyst, FP&A, will be supporting functional budgeting /forecasting activities, month end reporting and variance analysis, customer profitability analysis and other ad-hoc management reporting. This role will partner with assigned Sales & Operations business functions to provide financial support and insights and assist with the execution of operational and financial plans.

 

The schedule for this role is Monday -  Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm EST  (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday being in the office). 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute weekly revenue forecast reports for Senior Management review.
  • Weekly revenue analysis, metric reporting, and commentary to support the weeks’ revenue results.
  • Adhoc revenue & expense reporting where needed.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to field.
  • Assist in month-end closing process, providing analysis on forecast/plan variances.
  • Generate monthly PowerPoint presentations for Monthly Business Review
  • Assist in data gathering and consolidation for annual budget process.
  • Assist in special projects and adhoc reporting as required.

Experience

  • 3-5 years finance department experience
  • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/demanding environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must (formulas, pivot tables and vlook ups)
  • Power Point presentations and waterfall charts/graphs experience
  • Candidate should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

 

To support laws for New York residents, the base pay range for this role is $72,560 - $87,979. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on various factors such as job-related knowledge, and relevant skills and experience.

Education

  • College Degree with Accounting or Finance major
