Job Description


The Fleet Warranty Clerk will complete all warranty and good will claims to the various suppliers. In addition, all campaigns and recalls will also be created, tracked and completed by the Warranty team.

The Clerk will be assisting the Part Manager with all aspects of maintaining a garage stockroom and will purchase parts, supplies, fluids, tires, special parts, order, receive, and put away.



·  Entering all warranty details timelines and or kilometers by vehicle, component and parts

·  Validating all warranty information for all assets have been entered in  the data base of the maintenance systems

·  When warranty coverage maximize OEM, Original Equipment Manufacture, relationship to request Good Will which is consideration for all or a shared percentage of correction cost

·  Maintain the warranty claims to ensure all are processed before expired

·  Report successful, timeed out, denied and shared warranty claims in dollars and percentage success

·  Report all goodwill support from OEMs in dollar amount and success percentage

·  Assist with purchasing to ensue the best warranty coverage possible

·  Other duties assigned


·  Strong knowledge of maintenance systems

·  1-year experience is required

·  Excellent Communication Skills

·  Ability to work independently

·  Must also be a team player with a strong focus on internal customer requirements

·  Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
