Job Description

This position is responsible for providing effective and efficient fraud risk analysis, Fraud Prevention designs and implementing programs to prevent such activities and to recover any incurred losses. Investigate, monitor, detect, analyze fraudulent/illegal activities perpetrated by customers or employees


  • Supporting the identification and disruption of fraud-related transactions impacting Purolator Courier financial integrity using fraud-related intelligence, analytics, and systems.
  • Proactively develop and recommend fraud prevention strategies, controls, and action plans to reduce E-commerce claims, chargebacks, and fraud.
  • Monitor, Review Transactions and create a feedback loop to optimize fraud rules.
  • Document all fraud cases in Think LP (case management) to maintain required audit trail.
  • Possess the ability to analyze data and develop appropriate safeguards/recommendations to protect company assets.
  • Continuously enhance the overall fraud prevention operating model.
  • Incorporate high-value reporting and data visualizations to generate actionable insights relating to chargeback and fraud threat vectors.
  • Review and Resolve fraud alerts, chargeback alerts within SLA
  • Create compelling evidence to defend fraudulent claims and chargebacks and optimize rulesets as per trends and patterns.
  • Lead analytical projects requiring extensive analysis of large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
  • Coordinate across the S&LP team to identify opportunities to automate processes such as evidence collection, dispositions, documentation, and track variables to build a robust fraud decision engine and model.
  • Distill highly complex analytical work and conduct root cause analysis into clear communications and meaningful insights.
  • Develop and maintain fraud and chargeback inventory and create linkage with fusion teams on an enterprise level
  • Work on multiple investigations simultaneously, while maintaining an exceptional attention to detail, and prioritize actions based on business needs and urgency.
  • Assist other departments with questions/concerns regarding suspicious activity or fraud, and provide guidance to team members as to appropriate courses of action
  • Develop and maintain affiliations/relationships with fraud investigation associations
  • Collaborate and Support National, Regional and Divisional LP managers to optimize day-to-day operations and reporting.
