Responsibilities
- Responsible for all Dispatch operations
- Responsible for staffing and recruiting
- Responsible for maintaining staffing and schedules
- Work with Operations Manager and Unit Managers to address any Dispatch issues
- Handle Customer complaints and inquiries
- Change Management
- Report preparation and analysis as required by Operations Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum three years Management experience an asset
- Minimum threee years Dispatch experience an asset
- Experience with managing/working in a unionized environment and asset
- Excellent knowledge of Dispatch operations an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of Ship Trakk / Comlog / Salesforce system and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Must be able to function well under pressure and promote a team environment
- Self motivated, good leadership skills
- Capable of dealing with frequent changes and unexpected occurrences or delays
- Research and follow-up of service failures
- Ability to work with and understand new software technology

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours/week (Monday-Friday: 10:00am-6:00pm)- Flexibility is required when needed
