- Work closely with Couriers, Unit Managers, Contact Centres and Customers
- (Customer contact via Telephone)
- Assist and resolve real-time situations for Courier and Customer needs
- Comprehensive usage of CCD, DMD, and MS Office applications
- (Workday is heavily computer dependent)
- Review and confirm pick-up call details
- Ensure an accurate and up-to-date Routing Database
- Assist with all aspects of Dispatch
- Follow all Company policies and procedures
- Other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications - Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and
leadership - Computer literacy, strong keyboarding, and excellent telephone skills required
- (Keyboarding ) Testing will be administered.
- Direct contact Customer Service experience necessary; demonstrated excellence
- with an ability to empathetically support both internal and external customers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an attention to follow up
- Excellent Interpersonal skills demonstrating conflict resolution, leadership, decision making and problem solving skills, eagerness to take on new challenges
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to work independently to prioritize, deal with change, meet timelines, all with an attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Purolator Products and Services
- Able to effectively work independently and supportive in a fast paced team environment
- Previous Dispatch work experience an asset
Working Conditions: Warehouse Environment
Salary Grade: As per CA
