Job Description

• Performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of Parcel Sortation Systems  and their associated components 
• Provide accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities
• Performing non-structural welding work
• General cleanup of work areas
• All other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• Proven Mechanical knowledge, with at least 3 years experience in material handling equipment
• Must pass and Written and Practical Test to be considered, unless licensed
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills including but not limited to belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, and gear-motors
• Adhere to all safety regulations and safe work practices
• Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Welding, fitting, and or machine shop experience an asset
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
  Lifting (50 to 70 pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.
