Description

The Operations Support Representative collects, enters, and tracks data used in reporting and prepares manager reports and maintains documents to ensure document accuracy and proper completion. The representative troubleshoots and maintains handheld package scanners and related inventory / equipment to ensure continuous operation.

Responsibilities

 

Prepare and complete driver pick up documentation verification

Complete BOL routing – using the routing tool and outbound linehaul manifesting.

Complete all document  and imaging  for BOL and Delivery Receipts

Complete dock scans and purge process

Complete shipment resolution – Return, Refusal, Bad Address, Redelivery

Customer service communication

Check in of Driver Keys and scanners  and fuel card tracking, Delivery receipts, folders

Log in and log out driver vehicle keys on Key log

Printer repair requests and requirements communications                                                                                                              

Process Overage Shortage and Damage reports

Send malfunctioning scanners for repair to external repair vendor.

Answer emails and resolve document completion issues with Lead Hand, managers, and scanner repair vendors

Excel, Word, Outlook, any transportation Management system (CLI, AS400, Truck mate) experience

Transportation business in an LTL environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Additional Responsibilities

Experience

3 months experience working with computers / technology (e.g., word processors, document management systems, scanners, etc.)
3 months experience troubleshooting for scanners and printers
