Job Description

•    Organize the extended work areas (isles and the wired cage) and assist with necessities for the pick and pack task to be performed by the team members.
•    Bring in and help in sorting contents in any return bins with the cooperation of other team members.
•    Collect orders (shipping labels) for bulk shipments (boxes/cartons) from the relevant ESS printer every morning, and periodically throughout the day, categorize and scan them as necessary.
•    Process bulk orders - pick, pack, and arrange outbound shipments. As a minimum, on a normal working day where there are no unexpected disturbances, the expectation is to process up to 600 bulk orders (i.e., 130-135 shipments/hour).
•    Follow the "First-in - First-out' concept in releasing products for outbound shipments.
•    Ensure that all orders marked as 'RUSH', 'URGENT' or similar wording are processed on the same day. Check and respond to corresponding calls and emails in a timely manner.
•    Receive inbound shipments (offload from truck/trailer), carry out physical verification of every package received, sign corresponding packing/delivery slips and promptly pass them over to the Supervisor. Discuss any shipment errors and seek resolution.

•    Closely monitor the release of products from inventory and when closer to re-order levels, prompt the Supervisor to initiate orders for replenishment.

•    Load all outbound shipments to the relevant trailer/s in the afternoon. It is suggested that this task be done after 3.30 p.m., enabling the processing and shipment of as many orders as possible, received during the day.
•    Complete the Daily Activity Log accurately and submit to Supervisor.
•    Maintain the workstation and warehouse area clean and well organized, without clutter.
•    Help other team members complete their own tasks whenever requested and perform any additional tasks assigned by the department leadership.

•     At end of every quarter, or when requested, carry out physical verification of products in inventory and update relevant records; the dates on which such verification is to be carried out are to be determined in coordination with the Supervisor.

  • Processing damages, retapes and completion of documents
  • Tracing shipments for customers
