- Under general direction, the accounting analyst is accountable for ensuring the integrity of general ledger and financial information used for internal reporting.
- Ensuring consistency, completeness, and standardization for the Banking
- Responsible for all accounting and reporting related to banks including but not limited to Bank Reconciliations, Analysis and reconciliation, liaising with bank to resolve issues, reconciling credit card transaction and fees and journalize all activities associated with banking
- Monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain assigned expense account analysis
- Support and back up Revenue and all revenue processes including rebates
- Assist in Month end and Year end closing responsibilities
- Assist with Audit Committee presentation
- Completion of all external and internal audit requirements
- Ensure business requirements are documented
- Special Projects and Ad Hoc requests as required measure success in achieving the strategic plan
- Develop other appropriate market models to assess share growth and product trend
Qualification:
- Intermediate or final stages of Accounting Designation
- College / University degree in Business / Accounting
- Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards an asset
- SAP or S/4 HANA Experience
- Focus on process improvements
- Must be a team player who enjoys working in a cross functional group with ability to work independently
- Thrive in a challenging environment with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple requests/responsibilities
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Access)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Individual must be organized and have excellent time management skills
- Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
