Job Description
The Sales Analyst owns the execution of sales incentive plans for the sales teams and delivers analytics and insights related to performance and payout. The Sales Analyst prioritizes work to meet deadlines and has an appreciation for process efficiencies (Six Sigma). Reporting to the Manager, Sales Compensation, the Sales Analyst will be the key point of contact for the sales organization for their incentive plans and commission disputes.
Deliverables
- Manage the administration of Purolator’s Global Sales Compensation Plan in Xactly Incent
- Will assist with leading the process to build, rollout and administer our global sales compensation programs including the documentation of sales compensation mechanics and policies
- Thoroughly understand and execute calculations on all compensation plans to ensure payments are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policy
- Track, research and resolve commission inquiries and disputes and provide solutions to resolve complex commission exceptions as needed
- Maintain a focus on continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing time/resource saving solutions
- Provide ongoing training for new and existing sales employees on Xactly software and commission processes including delivery of sales incentive plan documents, system navigation and calculation inquiries.
- Work closely with the Finance team in preparation of quarterly sales commission and bonus accruals
- Assist with ad hoc commission data gathering, reporting, analysis and other projects as needed
- Support the development and execution of SPIF programs.
Experience and Skills
- Strong understanding of sales compensation operations methodologies and processes
- Demonstrated experience developing effective partnerships with stakeholders
- Experience with developing and drafting process documents and system workflows
- Experience administering Incentive Plans
- Experience handling a high volume of transactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Teams, Advance Formulas & Functions
- Proficiency with Xactly Incent & Analytics or similar commissions/reporting tools
