Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting programs and initiatives that encourage diversity and promote an equitable and inclusive workplace at Purolator. As a key member of the DEI team, you will also work closely with our Diversity and Inclusion Regional Councils to advance DEI efforts.




  • Support the planning and coordination of DEI events
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Corporate Communications, Human Resources and Marketing to operationalize and promote DEI programs and initiatives
  • Engage and build relationships with our diversity and inclusion community partners
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Diversity and Inclusion Regional Councils
  • Attend and take minutes at Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council meetings
  • Support the development and launch of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
  • Create and maintain the DEI knowledge repository including toolkits and resources to increase cultural awareness
  • Update and maintain content on DEI web page
  • Manage the DEI team mailbox, monitor employee engagement on internal communication platforms and provide timely information and responses to employees
  • Assist with compiling and tracking DEI metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion




  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in DEI or Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of DEI principles and best practices
  • Exceptional organization, planning and coordination skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Highly adaptable, able to respond comfortably to new or shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate initiative and collaborative mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
