Reporting to the National Senior Manager of Health and Disability, this position plays a vital role in assisting the organization to best in class performance, requiring a significant departure from the status quo. This position may reside close to a Purolator terminal in any of the following locations: Mississauga, Etobicoke, Barrie, Scarborough, Pickering, or North York.

Responsibilities

The Return to Work Coordinator:

  • Assists the RTW Specialists in the administration of provincial, WCB/CNESST claims and providing disability management support for occupational injuries and/or illnesses
  • Reports and tracks workplace injury/illnesses to the relevant provincial boards within regulatory timelines
  • Collects workplace incident details and formwork to assist in WCB/CNESST reporting
  • Supports the administration of claims by managing mail, uploading documents to our Health and Safety software system and communicating to the WCB/CNESST boards
  • Liaises with Operations, business partners along with external stakeholders in verifying information pertaining to wages, return to work and recovery.
  • Identifies WCB/CNESST reporting trends and shares observations with RTW Specialists to resolve.
  • Schedule Independent Medical Exams along with completing the necessary letters.

Experience

The successful candidate has:

  • University degree, preferably in Health Care, Social Science, or related discipline
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and French (written and oral)
  • Valid provincial driver's license, some travel may be required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point is required
