Description
We are seeking a motivated Salesforce Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent Computer Science graduates or individuals with equivalent experience who are passionate about software development and interested in building their career on the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with experienced Salesforce team members, developing custom solutions, enhancing existing functionality, and supporting ongoing platform innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows under guidance from senior developers.
- Assist with integrations between Salesforce and other applications using APIs and middleware tools.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, well-structured solutions.
- Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data or functionality issues.
- Create and update documentation for enhancements, configurations, and processes.
- Continuously learn new Salesforce features, releases, and development techniques.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, from Canadian Universities or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (Java, or similar).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs or integration concepts.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or interest in front-end development.
- Familiarity with SQL or relational database concepts.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have (Not Required - we will train)
- Exposure to Salesforce through coursework, internship, or personal learning.
- Any of the following Salesforce certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (highly valued, but not required)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
- Understanding of CRM workflows or business process concepts.
