Job Description

Corporate Communications is on the lookout for a courageous, hard-working and positive-attitude driven Digital and Content Developer to play a lead role in building our department’s design and digital function by creating content that reflects our mission of being recognized as the premium courier in Canada. In the role you will:

  • Lead Corporate Communications’ design and internal digital strategy
  • Develop and maintain Purolator’s brand and design standards
  • Advise business partners on the best approaches to design and profile their high-priority, highly visible projects through creative content on Purolator’s internal digital platforms (Intranet, email, Workplace for Facebook and more)
  • Study emerging digital and design technologies and recommend the best way to integrate them into our business year-over-year to reflect Purolator’s mission of becoming the premium courier in Canada and attracting and retaining top talent (infographics, graphics, icons, PowerPoint and Prezi presentations, video vignettes, static web pages and digital applications, email templates)
  • Create and maintain web pages using web page development tools
  • Lead vendor relationships for the Company’s Intranet and internal digital platforms


The successful candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge in content creation and brand communications
  • Proven experience in graphic arts, web design and social media content creation
  • Demonstrated success in developing, rolling out and maintaining brand standards
  • High proficiency in content and web design using Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver
  • Experience in video editing and / or production including editing videos taken from mobile devices
  • Solid understanding of the web environment
  • Experience working with content management systems
  • Ability to read and modify code – HTML, Javascript, JQuery and CSS
  • Strong relationship management skills
