Job Description

We’re not done growing, far from it, and we need the best talent on our expanding Communications team to help us fully engage our workforce across North America with new digital tools, effective leadership communications and great content and events. The Employee Engagement and Communications Strategist will lead and activate Purolator’s corporate engagement and communications with all employees, including recognizing, celebrating and inspiring field and frontline employees as we invest more than $1B to grow our operations. In this role you will:


  • Oversee employee communications planning and execution by creating engaging and inspiring internal campaigns.
  • Lead a digital employee communications strategy by expanding our Workplace by Facebook strategy, overhauling our intranet and recommending best practices and approaches to reaching our couriers and frontline employees across Canada and the US.
  • Create visual and written content for a range of business leaders, including Purolator’s Senior Leadership Team.
  • Play a lead role in rolling out Purolator’s first-ever Employee Value Proposition and keeping it relevant and engaging for all employees.
  • Provide guidance on written and visual content distributed across multiple channels to align with Purolator’s voice, vision and strategic priorities.
  • Actively lead idea generation with a cross-functional team consistently elevate how Purolator engages with, and celebrates, all employees.
  • Commit to helping managers and teams elevate how they communicate with their teams by providing up-to-date advice and employee communications best practices.
  • Write and develop content for multiple digital, video and traditional communications channels.
