Job Description

The Customer Solutions marketing team seeks a Retention and Growth consultant to drive increased growth of our existing customers. This key marketing support role will focus on planning retention and sales enablement marketing strategies, developing and executing integrated campaigns, and aligning with various sales teams to deliver results.

This role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, such as product management, marcom, account managers (sales), and analytics teams to define, execute and measure effective communications and campaign efforts. This role will be measured on revenue impact, product usage, churn reduction, and customer lifetime value.  The ideal candidate will be a project manager, and a superior communicator; creative, with a can-do attitude, and a sense of fun.



  • Contain retention by creating highly targeted campaigns (online and offline)
  • Become well-versed in customer data to identify behaviors that indicate possible lifecycle changes (e.g., churn, stickiness)
  • Serve as primary point for managing customer communication and engagement to establish coordination of message and outreach frequency
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to understand impact of campaigns
  • Work with teams to educate customer on new product updates and releases via customer newsletter and other channels
  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations and Marketing Communications teams to develop and execute campaign elements including, but not limited to, email, DM, social, content development, list identification etc.
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance and optimize campaigns and messages.
  • Monitor and track budget usage
  • Develop strategy briefs that enable our marcom team to accurately and succinctly capture the purpose, audience, message, and feel of new creative for various programs
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Routinely analyze and report on key performance metrics, making recommendations to drive conversions, minimize email opt-outs and enhance content
  • Create sales enablement communication tools to assist the sales team in customer relationship development.
  • Translate produce specs and services into customer needs and collateral.
  • Participate in development of retention strategy, rooted in data, including clear objectives, channel roadmaps, measures of success, and a learning agenda to continue informing and improving that strategy.
  • Build a strong understanding of customer segmentation, behavior and consumer insights to leverage in marketing campaigns that drive customer LTV.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly organized, empathetic, self-directed and passionate about serving and understanding customers
  • Analytical skills to measure and report on efficacy of customer engagement, adoption, and up-sell efforts
  • A team player with a bias toward execution and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Basic familiarity with marketing tools and channels you’ll use to create and execute campaigns and programs
  • 4-6 years of B2B marketing experience (Bonus: communication, customer success, or customer marketing experience)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
