Job Description

We are open to have this role located in any Purolator location!

 

As a member of the HR Business Support Team, you will provide functional and technical guidance to the business community at Purolator.  This permanent full-time position is an exceptional opportunity for a client focused, analytical thinker experienced with SAP HCM on premise.

 

This role will predominately provide day to day client support to frontline managers and the HR team for SAP on premise Time Management and the ATR’s.  Other aspects of this role include: year-end activity support, projects support, system upgrade testing and implementation of collective agreement changes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert – Act as a subject matter expert in SAP TM environment
  • End User Support – Provide production support for SAP TM environment, including research and resolution of problems; identification and resolution of unexpected results; and recommendations for alternate methods/solutions to meet business needs.  Ongoing coaching on policy and/or collective agreement related language
  • Reports/Queries – Build, maintain and support a variety of reports and/or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing clients
  • Training – Develop training materials for use by client groups.  Train clients on new processes/functionality of system enhancements, where required
  • System Maintenance – Assist in the review, testing, results documenting and implementation of SAP upgrades and other software package upgrades as required.
  • User Acceptance Testing – Develop positive and negative test scenarios and complete acceptance testing to ensure enhancements/fixes conform to user requirements
  • Data Integrity Auditing & Data Integrity –Maintains data integrity in systems through pro-active means (audits, queries, etc.)
  • Year End Activities – Responsible for the preparation and execution of end to end year end processes with a cross functional group of teams
  • Process Improvements – Identify opportunities for improved quality and efficiency.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting a time and pay solution for a large organization
  • Candidates must have experience working with HRIS Systems (SAP HCM on premise preferred)
  • Good functional understanding of time and pay rules.   Experience working with collective agreements an asset
  • Ability to learn the technology solution quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Advanced proficiency with various Microsoft Office products required (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Bilingual (French/English) an asset, but not required
