Description

Under the direction of the Manager Loss Prevention Technology Analytics and E Commerce Fraud, the Manager Loss Prevention will partner with internal and external Purolator Enterprise customers to ensure they have the correct controls in place to safeguard their shipments from losses.

Responsibilities

Ensuring mitigating controls are in place to prevent customer losses
Generating analytics evaluations of loss indicators and action trending concerns
Initiating and supporting investigations into internal and external individuals
Support in the development of processes and procedures to mitigate losses throughout the network
Engage the correct stakeholders in addressing loss mitigations and trending patterns
Act as the primary LP contact for customer‑impacting incidents, providing clear communication, findings, and preventative recommendations
Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve compliance and risk mitigation
Produce regular loss prevention insights, dashboards, and executive level reports for internal leaders and key stakeholders
Conducts risk assessments for national customers, lanes, and facilities to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective controls.
Supports implementation and oversight of security controls including CCTV, access control, alarms, GPS tracking, and monitoring processes for high risk shipments.
Analyzes loss, fraud, and claims data related to national accounts to identify trends, emerging risks, and root causes.
Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve accountability, tracking, and chain of custody.

Education

Wicklander-Zulawski Non-confrontational interview certification
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) are an asset

Experience

3-5 years Loss Prevention experience
Knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada
Experience with CCTV, access control and security systems
Experience in courier/cargo/transportation industry
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsiblities and meet deadlines in a face paced environment
Must be able to work with a high degree of honesty and integrity
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
