Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Solutions, The Manager of Retention, Growth and Sales Enablement will be focused primarily on developing, executing, and measuring the success of marketing campaigns designed to retain and grow the SMB Sales & Outside Sales channel as well as Partner Channels. The Manager will be responsible for revenue growth and churn mitigation within our existing customer base for our Enterprise B2B/B2C program for Canada and the US.

 

This key marketing leadership role will focus on leading retention and loyalty strategies, developing and executing campaigns, as well as developing sales enablement presentations and guides. The Manager will be partnering closely with the sales teams, making sure marketing always delivers the highest quality campaigns, shortening sales cycles, making sales efforts more effective, and driving revenue pipelines. This role has 2 direct reports.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Focus on Retention, Stimulation and Growth initiatives to achieve campaign objectives for SMB Sales, Outside Sale & Partners
  • Leverage opportunities using CRM / Trigger-Based Marketing initiatives to manage customers through their life cycle and experiences
  • Contribute to the annual marketing plan, including the development of the channel and communication strategies
  • Assist in development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including development of agency briefs, creative development, communications, data/production specs, fulfillment, tracking & measurement of results
  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing Operations & Analytics team to plan campaign automation, compile campaign results, learning, and wrap-up presentations to the team and senior leadership
  • Work collaboratively with the product and segment strategy groups to establish the take to sales strategy and leading the development, execution, tracking and assessment of our sales enablement pieces. This will include value propositions and sales presentation, sell sheets, videos, loyalty programs, customer appreciation gifting and events, and the retail channel support.
  • Coordinate campaigns with various departments including SMB Sales, Corporate Communications, Corporate Marketing and Finance to ensure effective program execution
  • Manage Agency, Production and Fulfillment vendor relationships
  • Invoice processing and monthly reconciliation of Field Marketing Budget
  • Attend, present & participate at sales team meetings
  • Ad hoc initiatives or projects as required

 

Job Requirements/ Qualifications

  • University Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
  • 10 years business experience in B2B & B2C industries and/or agency management
  • Experience assessing project needs based on strategic objectives and ability to leverage the right partners/resources when required
  • Proven experience managing and executing complex trigger-based programs, direct marketing and email campaigns.
  • Detail oriented, possessing strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience writing briefs for advertising agencies
  • Creative thinker with proven problem-solving ability
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to excel in a rapidly changing environment, lead and manage several projects simultaneously with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • B2B marketing experience an asset
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong people management skills and experience leading a talented team
