Description
The Manager of Adjustments and Payment Processing is responsible for the activities and operation of managing a team of Adjusters and PPC agents located at the Head Office and in the Moncton Call Center. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of credit or adjustment-related matters that come in from customers through various channels in the organization including 3rd party freight auditor portals, 3rd party freight auditors directly, emails, faxes, and internal teams like Sales and Billing.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for overseeing the processing and verification of credits to ensure the percentage of credits to revenue remains within the credit threshold. The Manager is also responsible for all activities and operations of managing the Payment Processing team located at the Head Office. This role is responsible for actively managing the vendor relationship of our outsourced payment processing activities for cheque and electronic funds payment transfers. They are responsible for monitoring compliance with SLAs by ensuring payments are applied on time and accurately while actively identifying and solving problems and improving efficiency in the business office operations. Support the day-to-day processes and initiatives of the Payment Processing department, this includes monitoring, managing, and maintaining the daily payments received from various sources such as OBPP, Retail, and Depots.

Experience
This position requires intimate knowledge and experience of a variety of Purolator systems. E.g. SAP, CLI, OBPP, QlikView, BI, Invoice Display, Info Hub Viewer & Mavro.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Outlook with the ability to perform complex formulas/tables in Excel
- Knowledge of AR processes and procedures as well as a good understanding of Purolator's T&Cs and billing rules
- University or related leadership experience 3+ years in a similar role required
- Ability to multi-task and analyze complex credit or payment application situations
- Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail
- Independent critical thinker with decision-making ability.
- An aptitude for continuous improvement and process redesign.
