Description
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Automation Specialist to support the design, execution, and optimization of customer journeys and digital marketing campaigns. This role will work closely with marketing, sales, and data teams to deliver personalized customer experiences, ensure data integrity, and enhance campaign performance. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and has experience translating business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize automated customer journeys, email campaigns, and multi-channel marketing programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (e.g., Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio).
- Develop personalized email and landing page content using AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and dynamic data segmentation.
- Manage contact segmentation, audience lists, and data extensions while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and convert requirements into technical execution.
- Work with CRM and data teams to ensure accurate data flow, synchronization, and governance across platforms.
- Utilize SQL for data manipulation, segmentation, and reporting to support campaign execution and analysis.
- Work with Mobile Studio, CloudPages, or Advertising Studio to create multi-channel marketing solutions.
- Maintain documentation, campaign playbooks, and process standards to support operational efficiency and scalability.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, new features, and marketing automation best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or equivalent experience and professional development.
- 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Journey Builder and Automation Studio
- Email and landing page development using AMPscript, HTML, and CSS
- Data extensions, data segmentation, and subscriber management
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and segmentation.
- Experience with Mobile Studio, CloudPages, or Advertising Studio.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy, lifecycle communications, and audience targeting concepts.
- Ability to translate business marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Required Certifications
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (includes CloudPages, AMPscript, and multi-channel campaign management) (Equivalent demonstrated experience may also be considered.)
