Job Description

 

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing campaigns leveraging the entire Purolator tech stack. Your focus will be on execution for marketing campaign strategies as well as ad hoc requests from other teams within the organization. You will be providing recommendations on optimization and campaign reporting to help drive decisions on future campaigns.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of marketing campaigns through the management of our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Develop campaign emails and landing pages using HTML/CSS/Amp Script.
  • Solution, develop and implement campaign components utilizing the existing Purolator marketing tech stack to achieve marketing campaign objectives
  • Maintain and update data tracking within an organized structure for attribution modeling using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
  • Assist with building and optimizing complex targeting and segmentation to support our ad hoc campaigns as well as our ongoing customer lifecycle campaigns.
  • Provide reporting on campaign performance and web analytics as well as provide data driven optimization tactics using platform tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce and our Marketing Automation Platform.
  • Build and automate campaign flows and trigger based email communications.

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of technical marketing experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma (preferably in Business, Marketing or Computer Science).
  • Must have experience building and deploying marketing campaigns using a Marketing Automation Platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, IBM Watson, Marketo, etc.).
  • Experience developing responsive landing pages and emails from scratch using HTML/CSS .
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience with validation scripting using JavaScript or jQuery.
  • A true understanding of how to develop emails for desktop Outlook email clients.
  • Experience with web traffic reporting and tracking (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Knowledge of basic photo manipulation within Photoshop or similar tools (cropping, manipulating layers, moving, swapping and editing content components, etc.).
  • Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of web frameworks (Bootstrap) an asset.
  • Digital attribution experience an asset.
  • Experience developing in AmpScript an asset.
