Job Description

Your role works collaboratively within the Marketing team, cross-functionally with the Retail Operations team, externally with Advertising Agencies, production vendors & Purolator Partners to elevate, amplify and build brand affinity for Purolator. The role will primarily manage omni-channel marketing, shopper communication objectives & execution across various advertising media platforms. A key success factor will be understanding the integrated marketing concept and ensuring a seamless customer journey across touchpoints.  


Key Accountabilities

Elevate and Amplify the Brand (Brand Communication & Visual Identity Management)

  • Create marketing and communication plans to maximize brand visibility, increase share of voice penetration, and build brand familiarity & longer-term loyalty.
  • Monitor and champion Purolator’s visual brand strategy and ensure execution as per corporate retail objectives.
  • Support cross-functional marketing activities and customer access visibility plans to increase positive perception and to drive foot traffic to Purolator’s stores.
  • Act as the key liaison for all assigned marketing projects: ensuring clarity in execution, communication and reporting of results.
  • End-to-end management of experiential, engaging marketing plans to meet and exceed business goals for retail stores.

Strengthen Operational Excellence & Improve Customer Experience

  • Maximize plans and effectiveness through a 360°  Omni channel marketing approach ensuring consumers are targeted with relevant, timely, and compliant messaging across channels (brick and mortar stores, traditional, social & digital platforms).
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset - understanding impact, ROI/ROAS, and learnings to iterate and improve.

Support Revenue Growth Opportunities

  • Execute marketing strategy and seek out evolving trends & insights that create an enabling environment for tactical launches plans that drive in-store/online traffic, retention, and customer acquisition.

You Have

    • BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related experience with strong marketing and communications experience.
    • 5+ years working in corporate or start-up environments in marketing, communications or Agencies. Agency experience is a plus.
    • Outstanding results orientation with a consistent track record in driving business impact.
    • Experience partnering with and leading cross-functional teams to identify and bring to market relevant solutions with consumer benefit.
    • Project management skills, storytelling skills with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
