Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Consultant, Demand Generation, the Demand Generation Consultant will collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new outbound marketing campaigns to drive awareness & generate leads.  You will be responsible for and directly measured on your success in attracting prospects, converting prospects into new leads and nurturing those leads to close into customers, the latter of which sales will help you accomplish.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain the annual event program and calendar, which includes conferences, trade shows, and webinars. Research on potential new shows, topics and partnerships.
  • Coordinate preparation for each event/webinar – e.g., goals, budget, sponsorships, promotional partnerships, incentives, resources & roles, work streams, etc.
  • Promote each event/webinar – e.g., outbound emails, social media, website, promotional partnerships – in conjunction with internal stakeholders
  • Execute “on the ground” activities – e.g., booth coverage, demos, presentations, live tweeting, etc. and schedule and run post-event debrief; document feedback and leverage for planning of future events
  • Execute post-event activities – e.g., emails, DM and Sales follow-up, results measurement, etc.
  • Identify, define and work with designer and content marketing manager to create content assets needed to support event campaigns – e.g., booth signage, promotional emails and social posts, PPT presentations, case studies, eBooks, product collateral, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to plan, execute and measure all events, webinars and campaigns to create new opportunities and/or drive forward movement of existing sales cycles. Manage each event as an end-to-end campaign, including planning, execution and follow-up phases. Clearly document and communicate objectives, metrics and roles. Measure outcomes and report ROI for each campaign and for program as a whole. Recommend changes and enhancements to the following year’s event program based on present year results achieved.
  • Manage strategy and planning for corporate social selling program.  Utilize existing tools, educate sales, curate content and structure topics, measure and evolve overall program goals.
  • Track and report program effectiveness against defined key performance objectives and implement closed loop analysis and corrective actions to continuously enhance results
  • Work closely with the sales team to communicate new campaigns and gain feedback on quality of leads & identify new opportunities
  • Work with external vendors & internal teams to optimize outbound strategies and ensure all programs are set-up for accurate measurement and success;      
  • Establish rapport and develop trusting relationships with peer members and business stakeholders;
  • Proactively suggest solutions regarding strategy and tactics to improve marketing programs

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years proven experience in event planning and management
  • Experience working with Sales Professionals
  • Track record of successful project planning and delivery including excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Ability to analyze results to make improvements for future campaigns
  • Business Degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills proven across a large matrix organization
  • A team player capable of showcasing a history of proven success stories and results
  • Self-starter, resourceful, creative, and capable of navigating a project to success
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time, organization and project management skills
  • Demonstrate open-mindedness and innovative thinking
