Description

The Marketing Consultant will be responsible for all activities around Sales Enablement, along with assisting on retention activities. This key marketing support role will focus on planning sales enablement strategies, along with the development and execution of sales requests, take to sales and sales enablement materials. This person has strong experience working with sales and an understanding of the relationship between sales & marketing.  They will be responsible for driving measurable take to sales support materials along with customer facing communications from the beginning to the end of the sales cycle as well as engagement and retention campaigns and support for sales growth.

Responsibilities

Growth & Sales Enablement

  • Plan and deliver sales enablement strategies that support revenue growth.
  • Create QBR decks, vertical stories, product launch materials, and POV tools.
  • Partner with Sales to align tools to selling moments and customer needs.
  • Track usage and effectiveness of enablement assets.
  • Continuously improve content using feedback and performance data.

Retention & Customer Engagement

  • Design targeted lifecycle and retention campaigns.
  • Own customer messaging strategy, cadence, and coordination.
  • Support customer education through newsletters and campaigns.
  • Define KPIs and share clear performance insights.

AI, Copilot & Digital Ways of Working

  • Use Microsoft Copilot to draft content, summarize insights, and improve flow.
  • Apply AI tools to speed analysis and campaign development.
  • Use prompts to explore trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Follow responsible AI use and data privacy standards.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Retention, and Operations teams.
  • Write clear briefs that align partners to purpose and audience.
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and budgets with discipline.
  • Build trust through clear communication and follow‑through.

Experience

The successful candidate is/has:

  • Highly organized, empathetic, self-directed, and passionate about serving and understanding customer pain points and needs.
  • Proficiency with MicroSoft Suite of tools:
    • Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Microsoft Teams for collaboration and workflow
    • Microsoft Copilot and approved AI tools
  • Proficient and familiar with Seismic, Salesforce and Marketing Cloud considered an asset.
  • Vertical knowledge of the retail, technology, industrial and healthcare sectors an asset
  • Experience managing cross functional projects.
  • A team player with a bias toward execution and a demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across all levels with and outside the organization.
  • 4-6 Years of B2B Marketing Experience with experience working in an enablement and sales support role
  • BA/BS degree or equal experience
  • Basic familiarity with marketing tools and channels you will use to create and execute sales enablement pieces and retention campaigns
     

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
