Job Description

  • Work closely with the Director, Labour Relations to prepare for and execute collective bargaining with one (1) National and twelve (12) regional agreements
  • Research company, market, regional, national and world economic states and forecasts, advising and reporting on same
  • Collaborate with and lead cross functional teams relating to collective bargaining
  • Act as counsellor to national Field HR Team on Labour Relations matters
  • Collaborate with and lead teams to resolve grievances and prepare for arbitration/third party litigation
  • Execute changes to new collective agreements, provide training on same and ensure compliance

 

Qualification:

  • Post secondary degree in related field
  • 3-5 years in generalist role with significant LR practitioner component or 1-3 years in purely LR practitioner role
  • Demonstrated research abilities, consistent with corporate and academic standards
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills
  • Will consider HRBP level based on overall candidacy and experience
