Description

As an Analyst in Revenue Sciences, you will provide problem-solving support to Revenue Management with a focus on customer performance and compliance

 

This is a contract role lasting 12 months.

 

The scheudule for this role is Monday - Friday 8:30am  -5:00pm.  This is a hybrid schedule with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday being in the office.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business needs are met and drive the continuous integration of pricing and storytelling into all deliverables.
  • Assist in developing the general rate increase plan and application for the entire customer base.
  • Ensure rigor and accuracy in all pricing analyses.
  • Work closely with other departments to manage issues and recommend resolutions (e.g., Sales, Operations, Contracts, Legal).
  • Present recommendations and operate within the delegation of authority and approval guideline framework.
  • Manage customer compliance.
  • Track and report on key pricing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Revenue Management support tools to drive yield and profitability.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and operationalize corporate pricing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to help drive efficiencies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field

Experience

  • 3-5 years of business experience or a similar role.
  • Exceptionally high computer skills with experience in data manipulation and analysis using Excel, Access, and SQL.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deliverables.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, Organizational, Written, and Oral Communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with high-level direction, strategies, and problem statements.
  • Ability to comfortably interact with all levels within the organization to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to prepare, present, and speak confidently to analyses and explain results in written and verbal format to the team and non-financial individuals.
  • Ability to manage a small project from beginning to end.
  • Ability to take initiative; is Driven, Self-Motivated, Logical, and adaptable to provide value added support.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Must be a Team Player.
  • Transportation industry knowledge and experience with Pricing and/or Revenue Management would be an asset.
  • Data science experience/training would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
