Description

As an Analyst in Revenue Management, you will be the primary contact for all pricing-related requests within your Sales Division. Your responsibilities will include providing consultation and recommendations on various pricing matters, such as new opportunities, growth, retention, RFP responses, rate changes, impact analysis, contract renewals, and competitive/market insights and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Transforming business opportunities and customer needs into effective and collaborative pricing solutions.

  • Evaluate the profitability and risk of all pricing requests, and provide informed recommendations.
  • Maintaining rigor and accuracy in all pricing analyses, approval requests, and final pricing releases for implementation.
  • Collaborating with various departments, such as Sales, Operations, Contracts, and Legal, to address issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Providing recommendations and operating within the established delegation of authority and approval guidelines.

  • Conducting ad hoc analyses and implementing corporate pricing initiatives.

  • Driving efficiencies through continuous process improvement.

  • Adhering to Corporate directives on both individual and departmental goals and other requirements.

  • Ensuring customer compliance.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ of business experience in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in data manipulation and analysis using Excel, Access, and SQL. Having experience or training in data science is also beneficial.

  • Experience in using Microsoft Power BI or other interactive data visualization products and SAP S/4HANA.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deliverables.

  • Ability to work effectively with high-level direction, strategies, and problem statements.

  • Ability to comfortably interact with all levels within the organization to achieve desired results.

  • Ability to prepare, present, and speak confidently to analyses and explain results in written and verbal format to the team and non-financial individuals.

  • Ability to manage a small project from beginning to end.

  • Ability to take initiative; is driven, self-motivated, logical, and adaptable to provide solution-oriented and value-added support.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Must be a team player.

  • Transportation Industry knowledge and experience with Pricing and/or Revenue Management would be an asset.
