Job Description

ABAP Developer Role:

This SAP Development team supports our Transportation Management (TM) Module by developing application code in accordance with application standards and best practices. Together they work on multiple projects per year that include enhancements, interfaces, and break fixes for our platforms. This individual is responsible for analyzing, developing, and delivering the technical solution that satisfies the end user. The Developer also works with incident management software to investigate, resolve issues with various applications, and resolve defects. The Developer unit tests all changes to applications to ensure that the quality level delivered to QA is acceptable and documents these test cases. This individual is well versed in agile methodologies and development.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret functional requirements as described in the functional design documents.
• Develop, integrate, test, maintain and enhance existing and proprietary platform applications (e.g. SAP).
• Design, develop and unit test technical solutions for moderate to complex work objects assigned.
• Provide support to test teams during product and UAT testing of the technical solution developed.
• Prepare and implement the technical solution to the production environment.
• Investigate and provide post implementation support of the technical solution implemented.
• On-call responsibilities 1 – 2 weeks per month.
• Hybrid work model, attend corporate office 2- 3 days per week.

Agile Development

• Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, sprint reviews.
• Develop technical documentation for work completed; participate in test-plan development, integration, and deployment.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science at accredited college/university.
• 7+ years’ experience in developing in with SAP ABAP, Enhancements Web Dynpro, BOPF.

Mandatory Skills:

• SAP ABAP Programing at high level of expertise.
• SAP Enhancement Framework development experience.
• SAP Web Dynpro and FPM development experience
• SAP BOPF Framework development experience
• SAP Fiori
• Web Technologies – SAPUI5 using Eclipse
• JavaScript

Nice to have:

• SAP EH & S or SAP TM experience
• SAP ABAP Certification
• SAP BTP Cockpit & CPI experience
• ABAP knowledge in SAP EH&S, TM, EM, and Hana.
• Floor Plan Manager
