Job Description

The Customer Solutions marketing team seeks a demand generation expert to drive new acquisitions, and revenue growth for our Enterprise B2B2C program. This key marketing leadership role will focus on leading demand generation marketing strategies, developing and executing inbound and outbound campaigns, and aligning with various sales teams to deliver results.

This person is data-driven with strong experience refining programs to continually improve KPI’s. Experience across a variety of acquisition channels including digital, email, events and beyond. The Manager, Demand Generation will be partnering closely with the sales teams, making sure marketing always delivers the highest quality leads possible, shortening sales cycles, making sales efforts more effective, and driving revenue pipeline. The right person for the role has a strong “Big Picture” mentality but is also willing and able to focus on execution.
 

  • Define the campaign strategy to create demand in the marketplace, sales enablement with marketing lead targets and tools for nurturing them to a sales accepted lead state, and gathering market intelligence to ensure programs meet the needs of the vertical, region or buying cycle for greater success.
  • Lead the evolution of the MQL/SQL definition and lead nurture/handoff process development between sales and marketing utilizing Salesforce.
  • Work with product marketing and sales leaders to shape campaign strategy & themes
  • Build an integrated marketing mix including campaign development across digital marketing channels (email, social, display, nurturing and retargeting), Direct Mail and Events
  • Must have experience with landing page design/testing and content integration to drive revenue throughout stage of customer lifecycle.
  • Manage and report on the pipeline of targeted accounts, campaign performance, and continuously improve overall program effectiveness
  • Partner with Sales to increase velocity of the sales funnel and revenue pipeline. This includes list acquisition, scoring, campaign management and prioritization
  • Oversee overall demand generation strategy, programs and budget to acquire customers to support revenue goals.
  • Develop and deliver strategies for inbound and outbound multi-channel campaigns - including events, trade shows, direct mail, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social, website, display advertising, etc
  • Lead a team of 2 marketing consultants dedicated to events/tradeshows/webinars and social selling/sales enablement.
  • Manage demand generation budget including monthly forecasts, ROI analysis, and recommendations for optimization
  • Present marketing pipeline dashboards including detailed analysis of program and channel results
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marcom, Product Management, Technology Solutions, BDRs, Sales Ops and analytics

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Undergraduate Degree or Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years progressive working experience
  • Experience working in an Agency / Consulting capacity an asset
  • Advanced Project Management Skills and working knowledge of SFDC and Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Advanced computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience managing demand gen marketing activities, including targeted digital / telesales / website / events / content / PPC 
  • Strong analytic and data experience required working with Data Analyst/Insight and Marketing Operations teams to ensure seamless execution, tracking and report-ability
  • Experience establishing a strategy; matching resources/investment to achieve a measurable results
  • Analytic skills – ability to report results, insights and recommendations
  • Experience managing and reconciling budgets
  • People Management Experience with demonstrated ability in effectively coaching and leading a team to execute programs
  • Effective Communication with strong written, verbal skills
  • Effective in managing multiple projects/priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/implement and influence change
