Job Description

The Content Creation Specialist is accountable for managing the day to day running and administration of Purolator’s Global Sales Content Platform (SEISMIC), ensuring its success while providing support to and managing other sales enablement applications.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Act as the central point of contact for all users including sales, sales enablement, customer success, and sales operations within the company.
  • Proactively identify information, resources and best practices to drive user productivity and to optimize the Seismic user experience.
  • Participate in the development of a content strategy, including scalable plans in support of all lines of business that focus on the right content delivery to the right audience at the right time and in the right format
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop strategies, guidelines, templates, and trainings that improve seller experience in Seismic and Salesforce CRM
  • Ensure all content is tagged and maintained so users can quickly find what is needed
  • Execute against the Seismic Roadmap and identify and prioritize current business opportunities,
  • Work with Vendor and key stakeholders to define the systems functionality and enhancements roadmap and deployment and maintenance of new functionalities and enhancements where appropriate.
  • Responsible for monitoring of platform efficacy and will provide go forward recommendations for continually increasing the impact on targeted success criteria.
  • Organize physical and virtual training activities for both new hire onboarding and continued sales training of existing staff.
  •  
  • Coach new hires and existing sales professionals on how to use Seismic including strategies for content discovery and overall functionality of the platform.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Big Data Analytics, Communications, Information Management or related field

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of related experience, advantageous if the experience is as a content specialist, content marketer, sales data analyst, or sales enablement role
  • Experienced with MS Office, Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment, managing competing demands and dealing with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan work activities, making efficient use of time to develop realistic action plans.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure operational excellence
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an additional
