Description
The Senior Consultant, Small Medium Business (SMB) plays a key role on the SMB marketing team. The Senior Consultant is measured on the success of growing the SMB segment in the coming years.
This role provides direction to the larger team to maintain the SMB program and calendar (which includes BRP revamp, campaigns, and engagement activities). It also includes completing research on customers, the SMB market, relevant topics and potential partnerships.
In addition, the Senior Consultant coordinates preparation for each tactic – e.g., goals, budget, success metrics, successful deployment, partnerships, incentives, resources & roles, work streams, etc. and promotes each campaign – e.g., outbound emails, social media, website, promotional partnerships – in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Execute all activities for each tactic – e.g., objectives, communications campaigns, managing agencies and budget
- Schedule and run post-campaign debrief; document feedback and leverage for planning of future activities
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to plan, execute and measure all tactics and campaigns to create opportunities for growth
- Manage each event as an end-to-end campaign, including planning, execution and follow-up phases
- Clearly document and communicate objectives, metrics and roles
- Measure outcomes and report ROI for each campaign and for program as a whole
- Recommend changes and enhancements to the following year’s event program based on present year results achieved.
- Act as coach for onboarding new team members
Education
- Completion of a university degree in a related field
Experience
- 5 year’s experience in creating impactful, measureable campaign strategies
- 5 years successful project planning and delivery
- 5 years' experience in project management and utilization of SFDC and Marketing Automation Platforms
