Job Description

The Talent Acquisition - Projects & Brand Specialist’s main areas of focus will be executing and maintaining key strategic recruitment initiatives, both long and short-term. The role will execute and lead continuous improvement within strategic recruitment focus areas, which include: technology & automation, recruitment data & analytics, recruitment marketing & EVP, standards & governance, vendor management and other strategic programs. This role will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise, which will develop relationships with external vendors and partners, as well as with the national HR team as subject matter expert for recruitment. The role will support field HR with processes, tools, templates and insights to support day-to-day recruitment, as well as resolving unique recruitment challenges in different locations/ regions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment standards & governance –development of talent acquisitions standards and governance that support a consistent national experience for recruiters, hiring managers and candidates. The role will create standardized processes, templates, communications, assessments, and other tools to be leveraged nationally.
  • Drive strategic recruitment programs and continuous improvement – support the design and development of strategic recruitment programs (ex. DE&I recruitment partnerships, campus relationship management, recruitment marketing initiatives on LinkedIn/Glassdoor, master vendor program management, onboarding experience management, etc). This role will also track key metrics to measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Recruitment data & analytics – execute recruitment reporting and analyze to identify trends and insights to drive required action/ focus. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop recruitment dashboards and tools to support national tracking and enhanced visibility for all of HR.
  • Recruitment technology & automation – lead recruitment systems design, in partnership with HR Systems team to meet recruitment needs, and to improve the candidate, hiring manager and recruiter experience. Continuously gather feedback and assess system effectiveness, and explore new technologies and opportunities for automation.
  • Business Partnering – this role will be a key business partner for HR in addressing regional/ local hiring needs and challenges with standard or unique solutions. The role will partner with HR to influence changes in recruitment practices and to improve adoption of talent acquisition programs.

 

Qualifications

  • University education, with a focus in Human Resources Management is preferred or a Certificate in HR
  • 5 -7 years’ experience in talent acquisition (preferably for a national employer)
  • Experience in utilizing recruitment data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to the candidate, recruiting and hiring manager experience
  • Experience developing recruitment tools, programs and campaigns to support a best-in-class, standardized approach to recruitment
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ex. SuccessFactors) and recruitment platforms and tools (ex. job boards, social media, assessment tools, etc.)
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a highly collaborative environment with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products is required
