Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead to join our Accounts Receivable Team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the adjustments and credit processes, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily operations, and leading a team of skilled professionals. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the adjustments and credit processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer adjustments and credits.
- Approve credit applications and make credit decisions within the assigned authority.
- Resolve complex adjustment and credit-related issues escalated by internal and external clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor daily workflows, ensuring team members meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and terms and conditions in all tasks.
- Regularly review the quality of work produced by the team, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service, to resolve adjustments and credit-related inquiries effectively.
Additional Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and guide the Adjustment Team by providing training, feedback, and support to enhance performance and skill development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and one-on-one meetings to encourage team members’ professional growth.
- Ensure team goals are met by focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance excellence.
Education
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably credit adjustments.
- In-depth knowledge of Purolator credit policies and adjustment processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and provide guidance to team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4/Hana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with systems such as OBPP, QlikView, BI, Invoice Display, Info Hub Viewer, and Pin Lookup preferred
- Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing business needs and priorities.
