  • Manage the bonded facility and ensuring the efficient workflow with respect to inbound/outbound freight
  • Ensure daily regulatory compliance with Customs for clearance on Low Value Shipments (LVS)
  • Ensure daily billing compliance and reporting requirements
  • Manage unionized staff on daily functions and compliance
  • As 1st Line Supervisor, assign and monitors work of direct reports, ensuring work flow is maintained
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong problem solving orientation
  • Process daily manifested reports of held back pieces related to Low Value Shipment (LVS) for customs
  • Maintain inventory records and track non-cleared items and ensuring consistent follow up for disposition
  • Provide status updates of shipments on a daily basis.

    Qualifications

  • Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
  • 4-5 years' work experience, at a minimum, in a Logistics environment
  • Cross border knowledge and asset
  • Prior Experience managing a bonded warehouse
  • Proficiency with MS office
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent problem solver with keen attention to detail
