We are looking for a Transportation Manager (day shift) at our Québec facility.

Shift Schedule
37.5 hours per week:
- Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Salary
To be discussed, based on Grade 9 scale

Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to oversee road courier operations and lead a team of unionized employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring operational goals are achieved efficiently.
This role requires a motivated leader who can drive performance through effective coaching, recognition, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage courier operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Supervise and lead a team of unionized employees, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
- Achieve operational targets outlined in the operational dashboard
- Monitor and manage employee performance in line with operational standards and KPIs
- Continuously improve operational standards through performance reviews, coaching, feedback, and recognition
- Communicate and implement company policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance and alignment
- Prepare and complete various reports related to operations and employee performance
- Consistently demonstrate core competencies in communication, innovation, change management, relationship building, and leadership
- Perform all other related duties as assigned

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Postsecondary education is preferred but not required
Experience
- 3 years of staff management experience, ideally in a unionized environment with warehouse, courier, or transportation employees
- Experience in logistics (an asset)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience applying and complying with Health and Safety and Labour Canada regulations
- Strong command of French (spoken and written)
- Must be adaptable and willing to work flexible hours and days to meet operational needs
