Description

 
Location: Richmond, BC
Shift: Monday to Friday 4pm until12:30am, with a 30 minute unpaid break. 40 hours per week.
Pay-rate: $22.94 per hour

 

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Forklift operation required for LTL Sorter - successful certification required of fork lift
 

Additional Responsibilities

Forklift certification required for this LTL Sorter position. Must successfully pass forklift training and certified to operate a forklift.
