Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide coordination and oversight of all domestic air and ground, as well as import and export shipments at gateway, including shipment and document preparation, booking, coordination of customs clearance, and pick-up and delivery in a 24/7/365 environment.

This is a remote position and we are open to various locations.

The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm.

Responsibilities

Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments based on client requirements, via phone and email, ensuring coverage of assigned shifts in a 24/7/365 environment.
Coordination with agents, carriers, and brokers to procure scheduling and rates, as well as administration of these activities.
Routing of shipments and preparation of pre-alert documentation.
Booking of all air and ground shipments with appropriate agent/carrier Coordinates pick-up and delivery of shipments with shipper/consignee.
Enters all shipments and related information into the applicable TMS as required in a timely manner ensuring milestones are available in real-time.
Follow up on all shipments to ensure customer commitments are met.
Validate that critical connections are made. React to any delays to keep shipments moving.
Update clients and others (sales, CRR’s, etc.) of changes in status.
Document preparation specific to a given shipment, including but not limited to BOL, MAWB, HAWB, Commercial Invoice, and Certification of Origin.
Develop pricing and routing for ground, NFO air freight including cargo airlines, passenger airlines, chartered aircraft, deferred air freight, OBC.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, agents, and carriers.
Prepare competitive and market-based solutions.
Prepare and analyze reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as required.
As a 24/7/365 operation, have a willingness to be flexible with scheduling and available to respond to and meet customer needs outside of traditional working hours.

Experience

3 years experience in time-critical logistics environment, preferably air/express/courier or same-day logistics.
Make quick decisions and innovative solutions to complex client logistics needs
Strong customer service skills (world class Customer service, performant under pressure, swift thinker, multitasker, attention to details, self-motivated, collaborative)
Previous experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word/Excel.
Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a high stress environment.
Ability to work independently
Collaborate with all team members to get shipments from point A to point B with a team mindset
Demonstrate the ability to quickly move from one task to another Is successful under pressure

Education

Bachelor’s degree and/or a min of 3 years of position-related, logistics experience is required

To support laws for California, Washington and New York residents, the base pay range for this role is $56,072 - $67,987. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on various factors such as job-related knowledge, and relevant skills and experience.

Job Summary

This is a senior, high‑impact role for a compliance leader who thrives in complex regulatory environments and is energized by working directly with agencies such as TSA, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, DOT/PHMSA, and CBSA.

The Manager of Safety & Regulatory Affairs leads Purolator International’s U.S. government compliance, security programs, and regulatory strategy, with direct responsibility for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and international transportation and security regulations. This role owns relationships with government regulators, leads regulatory audits and certifications, and drives enterprise‑wide safety, security, and compliance programs that protect our people, customers, and brand.

This role is ideal for someone who specializes in government compliance within transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments, including:

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security programs
U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and cross‑border compliance
DOT / PHMSA and Dangerous Goods (HazMat) regulations
CTPAT, PIP, TAPA, and other international security frameworks
Coordination with Transport Canada and CBSA for cross‑border operations

Responsibilities

Government Compliance & Regulatory Leadership

Serve as the primary compliance lead for TSA, CBP, DOT/PHMSA, OSHA, and related regulatory bodies.
Own regulatory certifications, renewals, audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
Partner directly with government agencies to interpret regulatory changes and assess operational impact.
Monitor and communicate proposed and finalized regulations (e.g., Federal Register updates) to senior leadership.
Influence and engage with regulators and industry associations to ensure Purolator’s operations are not negatively impacted by evolving regulations.

Security & Safety Programs

Develop and maintain the Security Management Plan in alignment with TSA and international security requirements.
Oversee CTPAT compliance, seal controls, access control systems, CCTV, and theft reporting.
Lead national health, safety, and security programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and Purolator EH&S policies.
Support and lead regulatory inspections, audits, investigations, and follow‑up actions.
Manage Dangerous Goods programs, including certifications, account approvals, and operational guidance.

Leadership & Cross‑Functional Partnership

Employment & Labor Law Support (HR Partnership)

Provide employment law and HR compliance support related to leaves/accommodations, and separation processes, partnering with HR to drive consistent, compliant practices.
Review and advise on employment-related agreements and templates (e.g., confidentiality, general releases, restrictive covenants where applicable, independent contractor/consultant terms), and coordinate with outside counsel as appropriate.

Collaboration & Leadership

Liaise regularly with the Canadian Legal Department, participating in recurring virtual meetings.
Supervise a paralegal, including oversight of day‑to‑day work and quality review.
Manage and coordinate with external U.S. legal counsel as needed.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to a U.S. state bar (or eligibility for in‑house counsel registration).

Experience

3–5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
3+ years of corporate/commercial contract negotiation experience, gained in a large law firm or corporate legal department.
Primary U.S. and global industry experience within transportation, courier, freight, air, ocean, or railroad sectors.
Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience supporting international or cross‑border commercial operations.
Familiarity with employment law, antitrust, FCPA, privacy, and regulatory compliance in logistics or transportation environments.

Description

The Full Time Warehouse Support Representative position supports daily warehouse operations at our Columbus, OH facility. The main job is to process incoming freight and prepare it for outbound shipment to Canada.

The schedule for this role is Monday- Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm EST (30 minute lunch, 40 total hours per week)

Responsibilities

Package handling
Preparing and wrapping pallets
Pallet jack and/or forklift operation (as required)
Shipment paperwork
Managing emails and performing data entry tasks

What to Expect

Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment—be prepared for varying temperatures.

Physical tasks include lifting, moving, and organizing freight, but the pace is not continuous; there are frequent breaks between truck loads.
Training will cover dock loading procedures, safety protocols, and system workflows.
Expect a mix of hands-on labor and computer-based tasks, including email communication and Excel reporting.

Although the primary role is helping the warehouse operation to ensure freight is processed appropriately, a problem-solving mindset is required. This position will also handle data entry into our computer system, so good computer skills and some data entry experience is preferred.

Daily Job Duties: Receiving, weighing, measuring, scanning, labeling, and shipping while adhering to all safety, security, and customs regulations.

Description

The Warehouse Support Rep II serves as a leadership position within the warehouse, with primary responsibility for assisting the Operations Support Specialist and ensuring the efficient operation of our Columbus facility. This role also provides coverage during staff absences, maintaining continuity across all warehouse functions and supporting team members as needed.

Responsibilities

Daily functions may consist of one or all the following:

Lead operations by ensuring freight being processed correctly, operation staffed appropriately and audit pieces for accuracy

Process freight on the floor as needed: loading & unloading trailers

Administrative Processing:

Create routing sheet within Beacon (ERP system) so operations is aware of what customers and which trucks will be processed
Set up the first truck for departure; involves paperwork preparation
Create labels as needed for specific customers
Create report itemizing piece count for the day, weight of line hauls, numbers of skids, etc.; ensure Induction and Branch ops reports are complete
Check TSD exception report to ensure no local trucks listed under the exceptions
Customs CCI and PARS process scanning and email
Beacon data entry
Train new hires and lead cross training between warehouse & office processing
Communication with internal departments (i.e., District Quality Service Managers & Customer Support) to ensure accurate freight processing, product track & trace, updates on issues, guidance on decision making with customers
Communicate with drivers & carriers to schedule pick-ups; on an as needed basis
Carry out other duties as appropriate and as assigned by his/her manager

Experience

Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations & freight processing experience
Knowledge of ERP systems
Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Experience leading a team preferred

Responsibilities

Inspect, service, and repair delivery and related vehicles to meet vehicle safety, operational, and productivity goals and standards
Conduct maintenance and repairs, order parts, document and update work orders, communicate with suppliers and operations, etc.)
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report quality control issues (e.g., wipers not working) to determine their cause and identify if mechanical or general repairs or changes to the vehicle warranty are required

Job Summary:

The District Coordinator supports sales teams, customers, vendors, and district staff by managing daily operations and coordinating key district activities across both launch‑focused and administrative work. Responsabilités

Assurer la gestion quotidienne des emplacements au Québec.

Ce dernier doit inspecter, diagnostiquer, réparer et/ou installer des pièces sur les véhicules de livraison et l'équipement pour assurer leur bon fonctionnement et la sécurité des véhicules.

Le mécanicien doit effectuer les taches suivantes:

What will you be doing?

The District Quality Service Supervisor (DSQS) is a critical member of the Operations team. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence and will have direct oversight of assigned operational branches with Warehouse Supervisors reporting into this role from various regions within the district. This DSQS supports all West District operational functions, including line haul, pickup, and delivery, while working closely with Transportation and other internal teams to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations. The DSQS reports branch‑level operational metrics, including on‑time performance, cost per pound, linehaul utilization, and material‑handling costs, to the District Management team for consolidated reporting, analysis, root‑cause identification, and continuous improvement. The DSQS will be analyzing branch-level operational information reports to look at root cause analysis and corrective action for continuous improvement. This position will assist with training, development and health & safety best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Day‑to‑Day Operations, Resolutions & Escalations

Resolve customs‑clearance issues and support bonded‑shipment escalations with customers and brokers.

Analyze dock operations and recommend process improvements to enhance production and line‑haul performance.
Ensure data, compliance and conduct facility audits.
Improve warehouse production across district branches and support Warehouse Supervisors in meeting corporate metrics.
Identify, plan, and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Support district lean‑process initiatives.

Performance Management & Development

Set and monitor work goals, standards, and expectations for team members.
Drive service‑quality initiatives and ensure compliance in areas such as warehouse production, hazmat, dangerous goods, and environmental health and safety.
Communicate operational programs and policies to warehouse employees.
Train and orient new warehouse staff on organizational policies, procedures, and performance expectations.

Who are you?

2+ years of management or supervisory experience, including performance management, time management, employee engagement, customer retention, and issue resolution.

4+ years of operations and service experience, including receiving, weighing, measuring, scanning, labeling, and shipping while following all safety and security requirements.
Certified forklift trainer/operator.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), TMS or ERP tracking system, Salesforce.
Customs compliance experience.

Ability to travel including driving to various work and/or customer locations within the local markets, Corporate HQ in New York, and Canada.

Responsabilités

Agir à titre de maître instructeur pour l’ensemble des programmes de perfectionnement des conducteurs à l’échelle nationale
Établir et maintenir des normes nationales pour les évaluations des conducteurs, la notation et la certification
Effectuer des évaluations avancées et à haut risque des conducteurs, au besoin

Experience in trainer-of-trainers or evaluator certification capacity
Experience contributing to curriculum or instructional material development

Description de l’emploi : Environnement de dépôt

Établissement : 193, Montée Industrielle, Rimouski, Québec, G5M 1A7

Horaire du quart : lundi au vendredi de 04h30 à 8h30 et de 17h15 à 19h15

Contrat de travail : temps plein, 30 hrs/sem

Salaire : taux horaire à partir de 21.95 $ dès l'embauche

Le manutentionnaire, qui relève du chef de tri, est responsable de :

Décharger les véhicules de livraison et les remorques et trier les colis
Charger les envois en s’assurant de respecter les heures de départ prévues
Bâtir une relation positive avec l’équipe (courriers, chef d’équipe et trieurs)
Travailler avec des équipements tel que des convoyeurs, des rouleaux ou des courroies; travailler dans les remorques, les conteneurs et les véhicules de livraison
Scanner les envois avec précision, compter le nombre d’arrêts des camions et noter tous les services spéciaux pendant le chargement.
Respecter toutes les normes de sécurité.
Présence régulière et fiable.

Le manutentionnaire doit :

Avoir une connaissance du français
Être capable de soulever et manipuler des charges allant jusqu’à 70 lbs, seul
Avoir une expérience de travail dans un entrepôt (un atout)

The Business Analyst works to drive Purolator’s customer-centric shipping experience and growth through Digital Shipping Channels. The analyst interprets results using a variety of techniques to maintain business solutions with the goal of simplifying customer onboarding, enhance experience, and support business expansion.

Responsibilities

Engage with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business needs, processes, and functional requirements primarily for of web-based shipping applications.
Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with Product Owners and business partners.
Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Actively participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
Create, manage, and monitor sprint plans, ensuring sprint goals are met and obstacles are addressed promptly.
Use Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, issue tracking, and workflow documentation.
Maintain clear, organized documentation in Confluence, including business requirements, process maps, and decision logs.
Work with Jira/Zephyr (or similar test case management tools) to support test planning and execution.
Support continuous improvement of Agile processes and tool usage across teams.
Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of objectives and deliverables.
Work closely with Product Owners to align project scope with business priorities.

Qualifications

University or College diploma in computers, software design or any computer application development specialty, or +5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
Certification(s) such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or Agile BA etc. is an asset.

Description

The Diesel Mechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs assigned on-/off-road and heavy duty equipment to ensure proper function and vehicle safety and meet quality and performance goals.

Responsibilities

-Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
-Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
-Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
-Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers

Education

-Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license
-Valid Class 5 driver's license required. Class 1 preferred.

-Clear driver’s abstract that meets Purolator’s insurance requirements.
-Must be able to perform annual safeties (CVIP)

Trade Compliance Specialist (Mississauga, ON, CA, L5N 0E1)

Description

The Trade Compliance Specialist will act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing support to internal and external Purolator customers on matters relating to import and export compliance requirements within the supply chain. The position will primarily focus on exports, assisting customers with developing processes that will assist the smooth flow of shipments through the borders. This includes correct classifications, permits, and any other requirements to complete a customs entry.

Responsibilities

Developing and growing Purolator’s cross-border business and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within the organization.
Working with internal stakeholders to provide expertise on cross-border inquiries.
Responding to external inquiries from customers and other brokers.
Building and maintaining client product database.
Reviewing industry and regulatory updates and preparing information for sharing with internal and external customers.
Conduct training for new employees or develop and deliver presentations to other departments.
Guide others on how to proceed with certain situations relative to the role.
Work closely with external customers and sales to understand the customers’ business and products to recommend the best solutions

Experience

Over 5 years of progressive experience.

More than 5 years of experience working in the customs brokerage industry.

Certification from a recognized institution.
Membership in a professional institution that promotes continuous learning is an asset.
CCS, CTCS, LCB or equivalent certification.
Expert knowledge of the Customs Clearance process.
Expertise in HTSUS, building and maintaining product database, classifying, and rating products, handling inquiries, and providing expert information.
Visual assertion to read, and interpret regulations, HTSUS, and frequent industry updates.
Extensive knowledge of US Customs regulations (19CFR).
High Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent customer service skills.
Close attention to detail especially with building tariff and product databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Active listening and documentation.

Bilingualism is an asset.
