Human Resources Coordinator – Summer Hiring 

  • Working hours: 37.5 hours (flexible)
  • Duration: 4 months (flexible)
  • Location: Montreal Hub (Saint-Laurent - Flexibility regarding location if needed.) 

 

Description 

Purolator is seeking a Summer Student to support the Human Resource team, including employee file management, disability case administration, and coordination of recruitment and onboarding activities. This is a great opportunity for an individual currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or recent graduate in Human Resources, looking to grow their experience.

The role will consist of handling a variety of administrative tasks while providing support to the Human Resources team and employees regarding disability management-related activities, processes, strategies, and procedures.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the management of job postings and the follow-up of hiring requisitions. 
  • Support recruitment activities, including candidate pre-screening and interview coordination. 
  • Contribute to hiring and internal mobility processes, including the preparation of administrative documents. 
  • Support onboarding and integration activities for new employees in collaboration with internal teams. 
  • Assist with updating employee files and managing data in HR systems. 
  • Participate in the preparation of HR reports and tools. 
  • Support the management of absences and leaves, including communications and administrative follow-up. 
  • Other related duties. 

Experience

  • MS Office proficiency 
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Able to travel to the office when required 
  • Fluency in French is required 
  • Creative mindset, thinks outside the box and passionate about the employee experience
